Built locally in our shop, this heavy duty hive stand can securely support a Layens hive filled with hundreds of pounds of honey! Structured with massive 6x4 inch legs and suitable cross bracing, this stand will pay for itself over and over again by resisting high winds and, once painted, will withstand Mother Nature for years to come. I use these stands outdoors or inside a shed to protect the bees and help stabilize their environment. You can even place a shelf on the bottom supports to hold your beekeeping gear safely out of the way while you work your frames.

The stand measures appx. 50 x 18 x 24 inches and holds your Layens (or horizontal langstroth) hive at a perfect, comfortable height. Local pickup only, this is too large to ship. Unpainted.
