Our hive boxes are built to last, with dove-tail joinery and strong external lifting handles to simplify moving boxes in the bee yard.

Deeps - the standard bottom boxes for brood and some pollen/honey storage.

Mediums - the standard "honey super" boxes that take medium-sized langstroth frames.

Westerns - a bit deeper than mediums, these take a custom "western" sized frame. This is the size many commercial beekeepers use and are not widely used by hobbyists. They are an inch deeper than mediums, but shallower than deeps.

At this time we do not carry the shallow honey supers and have no plans to unless there is demand. If you need them, just ask but the lead time may be a bit longer if we have to procure frames/foundation.

The price listed does not include frames or foundation; those are available as well on this site as add-on items. If you need to buy more than three of these boxes and the frames to go with them, please contact us and we may be able to put together a package for you.
