Oh my goodness, this is just what the doctor ordered. I've been needing something like this for a long long time, so I sat down at the CAD board last weekend and designed something truly magnificent! I promise you that no one else builds this design, and it is phenomenal.

This five-frame Layens nuc has the following features:

• Thick (nearly 1.5 inches) sidewalls for great insulation inside the hive. Perfect for splits in early spring or fall!
• Fits five wired frames with 100% pure imported beeswax starter strips (not included but available as an option on this website)
• Room below the frames for whatever you may want to put there - Narroa, mite treatments, food or pollen or whatever else your needs may be.
• Landing board
• The top has a hole to fit a standard narrow-mouthed canning jar for feeding
• Ample bee space over the frames with easy access by the bees for feeding
• Stainless steel circular bee gate with four different settings
• Carrying handles on front and back
• Jointed and planed wooden sides to ensure NO GAPS, joined with biscuit joints and glue.
• Sturdy migratory top
• They also make EXCELLENT swarm traps

These are expensive to build so they aren't cheap but you know the saying - you get what you pay for. These will last a lifetime. Local pickup preferred as these are very heavy and shipping will be costly.
