Bees require pollen to raise brood. Ships per unit (1 patty).
To use: place one or two pollen patties over the top bars of your hive above the brood chamber. A feeding shim is helpful to provide more room for the bees (sold separately) but not required in an emergency situation. Maintaining proper pollen stores in your hive is essential when queens are ramping up production of winter or spring bees!
