I'll tell you, my life changed when I bought my first one of these. After struggling with a heated uncapping knife on frames with low wax profiles, this made it a breeze. Simply roll over the capped honey to puncture the caps, put the frame in the extractor and you're good to go. Save the cappings that come off and press the honey out of it manually (or better yet, with one of our wax presses) and reprocess the cappings into pure beeswax! Easy peasy! When done, set this out in your bee yard for a day or two and the bees will clean it for you! One tool I would never be without.
